Navigation change

Some people have called me to say that the way that the links navigate you around the blog is confusing. I think the main problem was that on the page with all the entries listed if you pick one and try to read it the first clickable link takes you to all other entries in that category (e.g. Zoe Zone or Planning). What you really want to do is not this but to read the actual entry, which you can do by clicking Read More. Accordingly, I've now put Read More first. On the other hand, I am currently leaving the category link in - I think this will be more useful when there are more entries in categories named after countries; for example, I expect that in a month or so I'll start saving entries under the Morocco category, and it may be useful to see these grouped together. For now, the Zoe Zone category may be interesting for anyone who wants to see all of Zoe's entries - otherwise the categories aren't that much help.

I've just had my first full trial pack. It's astonishing how much you can get in a 70l rucsac. It's a relief that I can fit everything into this, apart from my hand luggage, which all fits in my courier bag.
