Initial plan


Details our thinking at the time of the first blog entry.

The first time that we decided that we would like to spend a year travelling round the world, we wrote down a list of twelve locations that we could visit for a month each. We didn't want to spend all of our year in transit. This is essentially still the plan, although some of the locations have changed, there are more than twelve of them and we are not always spending exactly a month in each one. At the time of writing our locations are:

Zambia, Botswana, Namibia
Fes
Corsica
Maine
Alaska
The Galapagos Islands
Ecuador
Chile
Polynesia
Australia, especially Tasmania
Thailand
Laos
Nepal
Switzerland.
