In Morocco

1st June, Zoe (republished 2nd June following tech probs)

We are nearly at the end of our stay in Fez. Some of my favourite things in Fez are: The Dar, how it is different to home in some places and not so different in others e.g. the super market is more like home than a lot of places in Fez, I like the mosques and lots more! The things I don't like about Fez are: some of the smells, when they spray water all over the streets to clean them and I don't like walking around the top of Talaa Kabira.
I probably wouldn't want to stay here for more than a month because it would take a long time to get used to and it would be strange being somewhere so different to anywhere we have ever been but all the same I have enjoyed staying here.
Yesterday Dad and I went to a museum. I liked it and I drew a couple of pictures in my notebook. It was a museum about traditional woodwork, it was a nice building with big wooden columns around a large courtyard with a gold star made of stone in the middle. There were three floors including the roof. Some of my favourite things there were: black iron scales that were big enough to sit on, the section on baby furniture with lots of miniature arm chairs and a tiny balcony. The top floor was the roof. Dad and I sat on the roof and had a drink. Dad was explaining different types of infinity.

Here is a picture taken from the first floor balcony:
